Mother Earth....Father Time

In the days before days,
Before memories were created,
to be remembered there was
Mother Earth,
Father Time.
But they themselves,
remained nameless,
for they were alone,
in the deep vastness.
They came together,
to fill the void,
with each other's dreams,
aspirations for something unseen.
Mother Earth,
Father Time.
Their hands swept across the universe,
and one speck ~ like sand
became a pearl to them..
Mother Earth,
Father time.
And on this pearl they created,
everything seen,
and everything pondered,
Mother Earth
and Father time...
And to this pearl,
they gave life,
Mother Earth,
Father Time.
And the life was a reflection
of all their dreams...
And their greatest creation were
Other thinking beings...
But these souls were not alone,
in the vastness of space and time,
so these souls created words.
They named everything, even themselves
And their creators too.
To the spirit that gives birth to everything,
And takes it in her turn,
They called Mother Earth.
To the spirit that is always watchful,
And tracks everything that was
And everything that will be,
They called Father Time.
And so it was, they say.
For many years, the souls that had
Named themselves people
Worshipped the mystery of
Mother Earth,
Father Time.
But time changes everything,
Only that I can say is true.
People change, ideas change,
Until there is nothing left to do.
The wind must of blown the wrong way.
People began to praise the father,
As creator of them all.
People began to use the earth for their whims.
And in all the people's stories,
Mother Earth faded away...
Father was supreme,
Because he WAS time,
And time was precious.
The children were corrupted,
With their own ideas.
The creators did their best to intervene.
They sent great men to do great things.
But then, they day did come,
That they decided to send their only son...
To become man.
He came for love and peace,
He came to ease all suffering,
And he died to save.
His followers saw Mary,
Virgin Queen.
Reborn was the worship of
Mother... This time her name Holy Mother.
And now there was Father, Son, in heaven.
Time passes still.
Things change.
People think, explore, and change.
A long time ago,
the worship split.
So everyone could worship as they saw fit.
Many forgot about Mother Earth.
Still today, she is being used.
We know the consequences,
Yet we abuse this pearl we call Earth.
As for her mother, as a woman
I have to ponder, what happened to Earth's mother?
To say she is a part of the trinity,
My to say such a thing is blasphemy.
But I wonder, what happened to you, Mother Earth?
