Anime?

I don't really know how but somehow anime became part of my life.  It all started with Sailor Moon.  I enjoyed watching it on cartoon network.  Then I subscribed to a magazine called "Smile".  Pretty soon I was reading every fanfic I could get my hands on on the net.  A Fan Fic is a piece of Fiction writen by a fan that involves their favorite character/series in unusual situations.  Sometimes the fan even make new characters that would somehow fit in that universe.  Yes every anime has it's own reality... I know it's scary. 

Favorites?

If you can guess my favorite manga, you will win a no prize!  A no prize is just congratulations on my website for guessing and a link to your website.  If you can not guess then you can not call yourself an otaku!  If you can guess my favorite anime that's much bigger deal since I've given you no hints whatsoever.  My favorite manga-ka (Manga writer) has written lots and lots of works.  Can you guess who she is?  I also have a favorite seiyuu (Japanese Voice Actress).  She did Hakaru's voice in Sailor Moon.  Those are the only hints I'm giving you!!!

Work?

My husband is a working otaku.  He opened up an anime store in August of 2004.  I was working there until I had my baby.  Now I'm a stay at home mom, but it's great to be working in a field that we love.

Otaku

Otaku is an anime fan.  Otaku is a japanese word that means obsessed.  So their can be sports otaku or fishing Otaku, just generally when people say Otaku they are talking about the obsessed anime fans like myself!
